
Terms of Service
At Globe Pools, we're grateful for your trust in our weekly pool service. Passionate about our work, we value every customer and are dedicated to maintaining your pool with the highest standards, ensuring clean and safe swimming conditions.

We aim for transparency in all our actions and to keep you well-informed throughout. Enclosed is our service agreement detailing the terms and conditions of our pool services and repairs. Please review it and contact us with any questions.
Service Frequency and Fees
Globe Pools will perform pool services weekly at the specified customer address. Customers are to prepay a monthly rate for these services. An option for bi-weekly service is available for an additional monthly fee. Globe Pools will set the service day.

Both parties acknowledge that certain situations, such as inclement weather, illness, or holidays, may disrupt or prevent the scheduled maintenance. In these instances, Globe Pools may defer service up to one week, with a yearly limit of four postponements. Notably, services will not be available during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
Weather
If inclement weather occurs on your scheduled service day, Globe Pools will clean your pool and spa as much as the weather conditions allow, adding necessary chemicals. We'll attempt to continue service during light rain, but heavier rainfall will necessitate postponing that week's service. Service is suspended when lightning poses a risk.
During monsoon season, we strive to thoroughly clean pools within a reasonable timeframe, typically requiring an extra 20-25 minutes. Should you need additional storm clean-up, we'll provide a quote based on the specifics of the job. This may cover storm clean-up, removal of excessive debris, or any tasks beyond our standard pool and spa maintenance.
Pool Access
Customers must ensure Globe Pools has access to the service area on the scheduled service day. This includes providing gate entry codes, lock combinations, ensuring security guard verification, and moving pets away from the pool area. If we cannot access the service area for any reason, services will not be performed for that week, and customers will not receive a credit.
Vacation and Holidays
Globe Pools will be closed and will not provide service during the following periods:

Two weeks in the off-season, at Globe Pools' discretion

Thanksgiving week

Christmas week
During these closures, customers are not required to provide credit, and Globe Pools will inform customers of these closures in advance.
Services
Globe Pools will provide these weekly services:

Skimming the pool surface and floor

Backwashing the filter as necessary

Emptying leaf and pump baskets

Inspecting pool equipment operation

Brushing pool walls, steps, benches, and baja shelves

Testing and balancing water

Vacuuming, provided clients have a functioning in-floor cleaning system or suction side cleaner
Chemicals are the responsibility of the client, unless they previously requested Globe Pools to purchase and supply chemicals to their home.

The following services are not included in the base weekly price.

Filter cleaning, which is conducted every three months costing $130 per service, typically in February, May, August and November. Customers are expected to maintain their filters to enable maintenance service. Customers will receive a message before we clean any filters.

Salt Cell Cleaning, done as needed. While four cleanings per year are usually sufficient, pools with high calcium levels might need more.
Customers are encouraged to drain their pools when needed (approximately every two years), and the cost is approximately $350.

Repairs
Repairs are not covered by the monthly service fee. Since the cost for repairs can vary greatly, we've implemented the following rule. Repairs costing under $30 will be completed immediately and billed separately. For repairs exceeding $30, customer pre-approval is required. Minor repairs not needing approval include:

Pricing
The customer agrees to pay Globe Pools the agreed monthly service fee, along with any extra charges for chemicals, repairs, or services. An additional $130 charge for filter cleaning and long-term algaecide will be billed every six months. Furthermore, approximately every two years, customers will incur an additional $350 charge for pool draining and startup chemicals.
Payment
The customer agrees to pay Globe Pools the agreed monthly service fee, along with any extra charges for chemicals, repairs, or services. Globe Pools accepts payments in cash, through Zelle, Venmo, or through Skimmer (online payment portal).
Disclaimer
Globe Pools is not liable for any property damage resulting from natural disasters, fire, vandalism, misuse, or abuse. Customers should recognize that normal wear and tear on equipment can occur over time due to exposure to chemicals, sunlight, and other corrosive materials. Damages or deterioration resulting from not following our professionals' service recommendations or from inadequate maintenance between visits are the customer's responsibility. Additionally, Globe Pools is not accountable for the degradation of the pool surface caused by chemicals or aging.
Termination of Contract
Both parties agree this is a monthly service agreement that persists on a month-to-month basis until terminated. The agreement can be ended by either party, with the understanding that the customer will continue to receive services until the end of the current serviced month.
